It’s been a while since the iPhone SE 3 launched. After years of waiting, Apple is finally set to launch its successor, the iPhone SE 4. Rumours suggest that its design may look like the iPhone 16, which is expected to launch in September 2024.Â
According to the Fixed Focus Digital, the most affordable Apple phone will use the same rear chassis manufacturing process as the flagship Apple phone – the iPhone 16.Â
Does this mean that the two Apple phones will be identical? Although the phones’ designs may look similar from the back, they may differ in terms of dimensions and styling. It is expected that the iPhone SE 4 might adopt a vertical dual-lens rear camera configuration.
Previously, the iPhone SE 4 design was expected to be based on the iPhone 14, but now it seems like Apple is looking for a more modern design for its new, most affordable phone. Will Apple save on manufacturing costs if the parts of the iPhone SE 4 and iPhone 16 are similar? Well, it might be possible!
We may probably expect the iPhone 16 in September 2024, along with its other versions, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max, whereas the iPhone SE 4 may launch early next year.
While the design of these two new Apple launches can be similar, there is no news about the features of the iPhone SE 4. Will it also have something in common?
Is the iPhone SE finally ditching its old design? Would it be back with the Touch ID home button or adopt a more modern look like the iPhone 16? Wait for the launch!Â
