The tech giant Amazon has unveiled the latest generation of its Kindle Paperwhite in India. There are two models: the standard Kindle Paperwhite and the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition. These two models have been enhanced with several features designed to improve the reading experience for book lovers. The latest e-book is the fastest and thinnest Paperwhite as of now. The Key Features
Display
Both models feature a 6.8-inch glare-free display with a 300 ppi resolution, offering 10% more brightness compared to previous versions. The Signature Edition includes an auto-adjusting front light that adapts to ambient lighting conditions.
Battery Life
The Amazon Paperwhite and Signature Edition both offer up to weeks of battery backup and support USB-C charging, which takes approximately 2.5 hours to charge the device using a 10w adapter fully.
Water Resistance
The device is IPX8 rated and tested to withstand immersion in 2 meters of freshwater for 60 minutes, making it suitable for reading in various environments, including the beach or bathtub.
Storage Option
The standard Kindle Paperwhite comes with 8 GB of storage, while the Signature Edition offers 32 GB, providing ample space for thousands of books.
Wireless Charging
The Signature Edition is the first Kindle to feature wireless charging, which is compatible with any Qi-certified charger, whereas the Kindle Paperwhite doesn’t currently offer this feature.
