How to download a TikTok video in 3 steps
- Copy the link. Open the video in the TikTok app or on the website, tap the share button and choose “Copy link.” On desktop, you can also copy the URL from the address bar.
- Paste it into SSSTik. Open SSSTik in any browser and paste the link into the input field at the top of the page.
- Download the file. Click the download button, wait for the available options, then choose the file you want to save.
If the download doesn’t start, check that you copied the full link and can still open the video on TikTok.
Using the TikTok Downloader on phone, tablet, or computer
Follow the steps above on any device. The saved file’s location depends on your browser settings:
- Desktop and laptop: the video goes to your browser’s default download folder unless you’ve chosen a different location in your browser settings.
- Android phones and tablets: most browsers save the file to the Downloads folder, which you can open from your Files app or gallery.
- iPhone and iPad: Safari saves downloads to the Downloads folder in the Files app. To move a video to your photo library, open it in Files, tap the share icon and choose “Save Video.”
If a file doesn’t appear where you expect, check your browser’s download history. The location and available options can vary between browsers and operating system versions.
Saving TikTok Stories before they expire
TikTok Stories disappear after 24 hours. While the Story is still live, copy its link from the share menu and follow the three steps above. SSSTik can’t download a Story after it expires.
