Swiss smart wearable device maker Garmin has just expanded its portfolio in India by introducing the new Fenix 8 series. Specially designed for adventure enthusiasts and athletes, these watches have two screen options: an AMOLED screen and another solar charging model. Garmin Fenix 8 Series watches are available in different sizes.
Non solar version Watches are available in three sizes: 43 mm, 47mm, and 51mm, while the solar model is available in two sizes: 47 mm and 51mm. The 51mm AMOLED variant offers up to 29 days of battery life in smartwatch mode. On the other hand, solar models offer a battery life of up to 48 days. Further, these watches boast military-grade thermal, shock, and water exposure resistance.
Garmin also integrated a sensor guard and leak-proof metal buttons into its latest watch series. Other than this, the Fenix 8 series watches offer standard health-tracking features like heart rate, sleep, and oxygen level monitoring and advanced metrics like endurance score, VO2 Max, hill score, training status, and strength training programs. The built-in flashlight is one more feature of these watches.
Garmin Fenix 8 Series watches have built-in speakers and a microphone for calling. Users can also find voice command functions in these watches that can be operated via smartphones and offline to take notes and other assistance.
