Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Review: A High-end Gadget With a Hefty Price Tag

Xiaomi is a name that’s quite new to smartphone buyers in the west. However, we tested its latest phone and found it quite good. You can check Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Review below.

Handsets from the popular Chinese firm have never been officially sold in the US market – the all-new power-packed Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 5G comes in-line – and the complete range of products the company sells typically have never made it past Asian countries. But those who have heard and tried Xiaomi’s product know that the company has earned fame for uncompromised quality at an affordable segment.

Besides all these facts, Mi 10 Pro 5G doesn’t even feel like it came from an unfamiliar brand that doesn’t hold expertise in building expensive, premium gadgets. In fact, we’d say that Xiaomi’s phones are as polished and powerful as Samsung S21. Here we will talk about Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro specifications, features, and pricing, of course.

Pricing And Release (International)

Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is currently available in several European and Asian countries, but the company has stopped announcing any details of the US launch or release of the Mi 10 Pro. In European countries, Mi 10 5G starts at £799 for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the Pro version of the same is priced at £999 for 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. Converted to USD, the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro are priced at about $865 and $1,080, respectively.

Design & Display

If you want to continue regardless of its prices, the design is nice and it sports a huge 6.7-inches AMOLED screen, with sharply curved edges and ultra-narrow Bazzle. Though we love that Xiaomi eliminated the notch-side display and featured an in-display front camera on the left.

The phone is available in two colors – white and gray. It is too shiny and attractive, even though it features a fingerprint magnet. So, you will either need to carry a case or wipe it down constantly.

The Mi 10 Pro features a 90Hz screen that has a higher refresh rate than most phones, compared to a 60Hz display. Although it is silky smooth, the experience is not as high as the 120Hz displays. However, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro has a lower resolution than the Galaxy s21. Though we understand the price gap, it’s too low.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Camera

As most phone makers were preferring Samsung’s 108-pixels camera sensor, Xiaomi is no exception. This is because of the quad-lens and Xiaomi’s Mi 10 Pro 5G four lens stack. While more pixels were not necessary to capture better pictures, the biggest benefit of having as many as four pixels is associated with the clarity of the images when you zoom-in.

With a triple-lens real camera, Xiaomi makes it possible to deliver the finest picture quality.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Review: Performance

With the combination of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 chipset along with the 8GB superfast LPDDR5 RAM, the Mi 10 Pro 5G ensures the finest and fast user experience. Whether you play games or just swipe up and down, it won’t make you feel down. Check its specification in the tables below!
