Vivo V21 5G is Touted to Feature the 44 Megapixel Selfie Camera With OIS for the First Time.
Vivo has announced its latest smartphone – V21 5G in India featuring ‘44 MP OIS Night Selfie Camera’. The company has confirmed the news via a Tweet and also revealed the releasing date of the device. The new smartphone is going to launch in India on 29 April 2021. In this phone, Vivo has focused on its selfie camera and made it ‘Night selfie specialized’.
The phone has already launched internationally, and it is time to test it in the Indian market. According to the official post from Vivo Malaysia, the phone houses a dewdrop-like camera on the front with two LED flash set up on the top panel. As the company has revealed the phone design, the back panel houses the rectangular camera module on the top left corner. It has three camera sensors.
As far as the phone design is concerned, Vivo V21 5G will come in two color options: Sunset Dazzle and Arctic White. With the notched display in the front and triple rear camera stacked at the back on the left corner, the volume and power buttons are set on the phone’s right edge. According to the revealed pictures, the phone is expecting to have a slim body.

Apart from the 44 MP selfie camera while supporting Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and night mode for high-quality selfies and video calling, as the name suggests, the phone will come with 5G network connectivity.
Another highlight of the phone is its extended storage capacity. According to Vivo, Vivo V21 5G will sport 8GB/3GB RAM. Thanks to the 3GB effect on the 8GB phone that maximizes the phone’s potential and allows users to install more apps and run them faster.

Meanwhile, the company has announced other latest features on the phone. The company has revealed the Vivo V21 5G specifications and features on its official website and Social Media platforms in Malaysia. They are like – the phone will support a 6.44-inch display. Along with this, the news suggested that the processor of the phone is tipped to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800U MT 6853V and the back rear camera with the combination of 64MP with OIS, 8MP with ultrawide angle Lens and 2MP with macro lens along with an LED flash.
Besides this, the handset will be 7.29 mm thick and weigh 176 grams. The latest smartphone from the house of Vivo is said to run on the Android 11 operating system and fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
Vivo V21 5G Expected Price
There are no words out on the Vivo V21 5G price yet. But it is expected to be priced around 25,000 INR or $ 334 in India according to the previous models which were set at Vivo V20 for 22,990 INR and Vivo V20 pro for 29, 990 INR for 8GB/128GB variants.
