Sony has unveiled the Xperia 10 III, a successor of Xperia II with a similar design, revamped power, and battery. Here’s our detailed Sony Xperia 10 III Review, another add-on to the company’s flagship phones. Thanks to its upgraded Snapdragon processor, chipset, battery, and camera improvements. In this review, we will discuss Sony’s first 5G budget phone in the market.
Sony’s First 5G With Five Significant Improvements
Xperia 10 II wouldn’t fascinate the users so much, but Sony has altered too much on the Xperia 10 III since then. With no powerhouse in Isolation, the snapdragon 690 inside the new model is more powerful and has better features against its rivals of the day. 5G support is also considered a vital feature of the package, thanks to the new chipset.
Apart from this, we experienced an increased capacity to 4,500mAh (from 3,600mAh on last year’s Xperia 10 II). That comes with some additional heft, but at 169g, the Mk 3 is still considered one of the most pocketable handsets.
Sony has equipped the New Xperia 10 III with a 6.0-inch OLED display with a 21:9 aspect ratio, regarded as a staple of Xperia smartphones over the last few years. The series III relies on a 1080p Panel, too, similar to its predecessor.
Additionally, Sony Xperia 10 III will have the latest Image processing associated with an easy switch to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 690 SoC. We experienced 30% better performance compared to Xperia 10 II last year. Thanks to its powerful processor.
The triple camera on the back revises last year’s release, equipping a 12 MP primary sensor (27 mm) and two 8 MP sensors, a 52 mm telephoto, and a 16 mm ultra-wide-angle. While there is no significant improvement made to its camera, Sony claims that Xperia 10 III has better lenses than its predecessor. Though we didn’t feel any difference in night mode and panorama, we reviewed.
The Xperia 10 III was announced at a price tag of £399, which converts to roughly $565 or INR 41,140. Compared to last year’s Xperia, this phone is somewhere within budget, in addition to 5G and a powerful Snapdragon processor.
