Apple launched the latest iPhone, the 16E, replacing the iPhone SE 4. The iPhone maker will stop manufacturing the iPhone SE 3, which it launched in 2022. The company confirmed that the handset is being developed in India and will cater to both domestic consumers and international exports. Apple Inc. was already manufacturing previous models like the iPhone 15 in India.
The iPhone 16E is available in three storage variants: 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB. The base model costs Rs 59,900, the second handset Rs 69,900, and the top model Rs 89,900. This smartphone boasts the A18 chip for blazing speed and Apple intelligence, an innovative 2-in-1 camera system.
Some other specifications of the iPhone 16E are a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR Display with Ceramic Shield front cover, back glass, 6-core CPU, 4-core GPU, 48 MP Fusion camera, etc.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 16E will start on February 21 at 6:30 PM, and the phone will go on sale on February 28. Customers can pre-order this handset from Apple.in, authorised Apple retail stores like iMagine, iEmporium, etc., and leading e-commerce platforms. Authorised Apple retail stores are also expected to introduce special sales and cashback offers once the sale begins.
